Recording Ad Sales

For recording ad sales for your printed materials.   Note that entering Ad Sales items allows you to track the sales/revenue from and to generate donor receipts, but the software does not produce or display the ads.

To enter an Ad Sale item:

Go to:  Catalog > Add Item:

1.  You must first create a Donor record for Ad Buyer, if one doesn't already exist.

2.  Specify the Ad type in the name field.

3.  Select type = Ad Sales.  Ad Sales items will not be issued an item number, be available to sell anywhere, or appear in the public catalog.

4.  Enter price of the Ad in FMV field.

5.  Optional, use Internal Notes field to record details of the transaction.

6.  Save the item.

7.  Once the item has been created, you can print or email a receipt from the donor page.
