Changing Ticket Buyer to a Business
For editing a User record when the individual has a ticket.
When an individual buys a ticket, the same User record is shared by the buyer and guest. Since businesses cannot attend your event, you will not be able to edit the User record to a business if the User already has a ticket. To change the buyer to a business, you must first disconnect the shared User Record:
- Remove the buyer/guest from the ticket (Unassigned).
- Edit the Buyer user record to a business.
- Create a new user record for the Guest .
1. To remove the buyer/guest from the ticket:
Go to Tickets/Orders > Manage Guest Ticket/Order:
1. Edit ticket of "Buyer"
2. You will be editing this User record to a Business - so copy down the info you will need to create a new User for the ticket.
3. Click on Remove User tab.
4. Update Selected User.
