Merchant e-Solutions Gateway Setup
To setup Merchant e-Solutions as the gateway on your event site, you'll need:
1. An MeS Gatway account with a login and password.
2. When logged into (https://www.merchante-solutions.com/jsp/secure/sLogin.jsp ) the Merchant e-Solutions site, get 2 identifiers.
Gateway ID = machine-generated Numeric (20 characters)
Gateway Key = machine-generated Alpha (32 characters)
We always advise electronically copying due to the complexity of the data.
3. Current Software subscription and a Chair login for the event site.
Enter the MeS Identifiers on your Auction site
Admin > Site settings > Payment/Credit Card > Setup Gateway
1. Choose Merchant e-Solutions from dropdown
2. Choose which card types you are accepting from dropdown
3. Gateway API Login = Gateway ID = Login: machine-generated Numeric (20 characters)
4. Gateway API Password = Gateway Key = Password: machine-generated Alpha (32 characters)
5. SAVE
Finish Setup of Credit Card
Admin > Site settings > Payment/Credit Card > Credit Card General
1. This descriptor will appear on the receipts generated by the software as the source of the transactions. Ideally, it should match what will appear on your guests' credit card statements (this is dictated by your merchant account).
2. This box must be checked to allow vaulting or storing cards in your gateway for later access. If unchecked, the check-in screen will not display the form for vaulting credit cards.
3. SAVE
Be sure to test with a live online transaction (with vaulting or without vaulting)
