Linking Guests at Check-in with Pre-Assigned Bidder Numbers
You may want to link couples so that they can share a bidder number at check-in. Although it is faster and easier to link guests prior to your event by selling linked couples tickets or manually linking, it is often not possible when you don't know ahead of time who will be using unassigned tickets.
To link at check-in:
Go to Auction Night > Check-In > Search and Select desired ticket/guest.
Check-in the first guest as usual (vault card, issue bidder number.)
1. The bidder number will be linked while checking the second guest in. Since the pair will be linked, it is not necessary to provide contact info or a vaulted credit card for the second guest - they will automatically share the first guest's.
2. Search and select the desired guest to link to. Only guests that have already checked in will appear in the search box. If this section does not display on your screen, the feature must be enabled (by an Admin user) at Admin > Site Settings > Gala Auction > General.
3. Click Continue.
