Setting up the Guest/Sales Receipt

You can customize the Guest Receipt to display desired headers, text and features.

Go to Admin > Site Settings > Customize Your Site > Guest Receipt Setup

1.  Edit sales receipt header as desired, images may be added via toolbar.

2.  Note:  Organization address block is shared between the donor and guest receipts.

3.  If your ticket forms allow buyers to specify seating preferences, you can display their request here.

4.  This text will not appear on receipt if payment was made with a credit card.  Custom Payment Instructions must be edited by a Chair user at Admin > Site Settings > Payments / Credit Cards > Create Custom Payment Type.

5.  Signature line is unnecessary for events with online transactions only.

6.  A text box is provided for any message that you want all buyers to see, regardless of settings or payment type.

7.  When Display Sponsors? is checked, the intro message field appears along with a list of your Sponsors (each donor record flagged as a Sponsor).    If you do not want the automated list of Sponsors to display, disable the display setting, or edit the Donor record to uncheck the "Is sponsor?" box.

8. When Display Deduction Column on receipt? is checked, a text box for Fine Print (with 6 pt grey font) text also appears and is generally used to provide a disclaimer about the accuracy of reported FMV or potential deductibility of transactions.   Disabling this setting removes both the deduction column and the fine print text.

9.  Displays a column with the FMV of the item.

10. Select the number of copies to be generated.

11. Save your edits and preview the receipt.
