Controlling Visibility of the Online Auction Catalog
In addition to controlling when individual items are open for bidding, there are two additional controls for the public visibility of the online auction catalog.
To control when the Online Auction catalog is visible to the public:
Go to Admin > Site Settings > Online Auction > General
To control which parts of the web catalog the public can view:
Go to Catalog > Preview Public View
To set the button bar options:
Go to Admin > Site Settings > Catalog > Catalog Settings
1. Disabling the Button Bar display to the public will lock the catalog view to the choice specified in (2).
2. This choice provides either the default public view (which can be changed using the button bar) or the only view (if the button bar is disabled). Note: items that are marked for sale in both gala and online auction will appear in both/all views.
3. Save.
