Editing the Email Messages Online Bidders Will Receive

There are several auto-generated email messages which can be edited:  all bidders receive confirmation emails when they create an online bidding account, when they win (or buy) and item and when payment has been received for an order.   You also have the option of sending outbid notifications and daily payment reminders.

Go to Admin > Site Settings > Online Auction > Emails > Winning Bid

Winning Bid email bid is pictured but editing tools are identical for all emails:

1.  Edit Subject line of message.

2.  Edit body, merge tags are available to personalize the message and are displayed in the right column.

3.  Save your changes.

4.  After saving, enter your email address and click on the Send Preview to button to receive a preview message.

5.  Click to revert to default text at any time.
