Edit Fields to Collect the Desired Guest Info

You can customize the field names and whether the fields will be displayed or required to fit the needs of your event and get the right information from your ticket buyers.

Note:  Some gateways require certain fields in order to process credit card transaction.  The software will force the display the fields on your ticket forms based on the gateway setup for your site:

  • Vanco and SchoolPay require full name and billing address, including state and zip code.
  • WePay requires zip code.

Be aware that these fields will display automatically, but will not be marked as required.  Any user attempting to process a credit card will be blocked unless they have provided the required information, but users not providing a credit card and/or buying tickets for others will not be blocked it if they fail to provide the information for themself (not paying with cc)  or their guests (cc or not).

You have the option of forcing non-admin users to provide complete information, regardless of payment type by requiring the fields (below).  Be aware that ticket buyers will not be able to provide any info on their "guests" unless they can complete all required fields.

To customize your ticket fields:

To customize your ticket fields:

Go to Admin > Site Settings > Ticket Sales > Customize Registration Forms > Edit Ticket Fields

1.  Edit the names of the desired fields as you wish them to appear on your guest info forms.

2.  Uncheck the "Display" box  if you do not want the field to appear on your form.

3.  Check the "Required" box to require a field.  Note: only online ticket buyers will be blocked from moving to the next step without completing the required fields.  Your team members can skip required fields when entering tickets internally.

4. Table and Seat Assignment fields are unique in that data entered in these fields can be bulk edited from the ticket page.  You can rename them and use them for another purpose only if you will not want to assign guests to tables and/or seat later.

5.  Save Changes.
