Inviting Guests To Self Check-In
Once you have turned on the Self Check-In feature and chosen your desired settings, you can select the guests you would like to invite to check in online and send invitations. You can monitor the check in progress from the ticket page and resend invitations as needed.
To select and invite ticket holders to self check-in:
Go to Tickets
1. Click on Customize button and check the boxes "Card Vaulted" and "Invite Sent" to add columns to your ticket page display.
2. Select ticketholders to invite to check-in.
3. Click on Bulk Actions > Invite Guests to Self Check-In
To confirm invitations click on continue:
4. The software will only send one email per email address, so you may select "all" without having to edit for couples with shared emails.
5. Selected ticketholders without email addresses will be highlighted.
6. Click Continue to send.
To monitor check-in progress on ticket page:
Go to Tickets (use Customize button to display Invite Sent and Card Vaulted columns if you haven't already)
1. Date stamp showing when invite email(s) were sent. You may resend the invitation emails (with an updated message, if desired) as needed. Remember that the link to the guest account expires after 5 days. . . .
2. Displays whether the guest has checked in yet.
3. Indicates whether a guest has vaulted a credit card. Note: Vaulted cards are tied to a User account - so couples sharing a bidder number may display only one vaulted credit card, but it will be available for all orders created for their bidder number.
