Confirming Notifications to Winners
Bidding closes instantaneously when the specified closing time is reached. Notifications to winners are sent when the servers refresh - which may take as long as 15 minutes in periods of low activity (such as midnight closings). Preview how you can track items closing and being awarded to winners below.

Preview of an item closing:
1. / 2. Go to Catalog > click on Item name in any view.
3. Go to Admin > View Reports > Online Auction tab > Online Sales by Type > click on Silent line item.
Troubleshooting Missing Online Sales/Orders:
If an Online Item closes, but the banner does not update to: Closed - Item Won:
1. Doublecheck the item's closing date, time, and year. If it closed recently, check that your site is set to the correct time zone.
2. Was the winner notified? Check that the Enable Automatic Closeout box is checked.
3. On the Item detail screen, verify that the item is still available for sale at Online Auction (box is checked).
4. Verify that there is adequate quantity for Sellable and Sign up Items and/or that Silent Item quantity = 1.
5. Verify that the item received qualifying bids.
6. Item will not be awarded if it is for sale ain both the Gala and Online Auctions AND the "Transfer Online Items to Gala Auction" box is checked
7. Verify Item is not a Closed bidding item that requires manual winner being awarded.
