Tools to Solicit Donations from your Donor list

There are several tools available for soliciting donations from your donor list:

1.  A Procurement form can be edited as desired and used to record donations received/submitted.

2.  Built in Mail Merge allows you to personalize procurement (and thank you) letters with data from donor and item record.

3.  Export donor email addresses for use in mass emails directing potential donors to an Online form for submitting their donation of an item or service.

Go to Admin > Site Settings > Print Materials

1.  See Sample Procurement form below.

2.  Edit the Sample Solicitation letter using the same steps as editing the Sample Donor Thank You.

3.  Create a new mail merge solicitation letter.

Go to Donors

1.  If Email column is not displaying on your Donor page, Click on Customize and select Email.

2.  Click on Email Header to sort donor records with email addresses together if desired.

3.  Click on Save as CSV to generate a CSV spreadsheet you can use to export the email addresses into your email message

 

The address:  https://{your site url}/donate_item/new can be used in your paper communications or as a hypertext link  in your email message.  Giving donors the option to submit items online allows them to donate without having to get someone from your team on the phone and reduces the time you'll spend following up on an email submissions containing general or incomplete information.
