Adding Donors

Signing on and Getting There

1. Login
2. Click on Donor tab.
3. Click on Add New Donor

Inputting the Data

1. Clicking on Is business box will generate a contact person and title.
2. Name is only required field.
3. You set data as Default for all address fields to minimize typing.
4. Clicking on Sponsoring the Auction ? box will place name and address on bottom of each receipt.

Extended Information Added for Donors to be Visible

1. To make Donor visible to guests without logon, click on Extended Information and
2. Click on Make donor to visible to public: box.
3. Description can include html coding and link to donor's web site.
4. Save.

Donors Submitting Their Own Information

Donors can also submit information to you directly from the website. After clicking on the "Donors" link on the homepage and getting the "Donor" page, if they click the Donate link and fill in the information and click on Send.
Alternatively set up link http;// [your site address ] /donors/donate to ge to the screen above.

(You should have already set up Default Data
new_donor_e-mail E-mail of person on your team whom should receive notice when a donor signs up on your auction site to give something. If you enter multiple emails, separate them with a comma i.e., anna@myschool.org,jen@someco.com.)
