Donate Now or /give Set up
Enabling Donate Now page creates a page - [your site url] /give intended to allow donors who do not want tickets but want to support you with straight donations or by purchasing something that does not require them to attend your event. Requires a card-not-present credit card gateway account to accept payment online.
Admin > Donate Now > General
1. Donate Now link will appear as a red button on top of the right column. (Research says a red button brings 33% increase in donations.)
2. E-mail of person who will get notified when a donation or purchase is made from this page.
3. E-mail that will be appear in the From line of the automatic e-mail thank you response.
4. Text of the label/link inside the red button that donors click on. "Donate Now" by default.
5. The header at the top of the page after a donor clicks on (4).
6. Text will appear directly above the dropdown of dollar amounts .
7. Enter the values you would like displayed in the donation drop down. Enter the numbers separated by spaces without a dollar sign. (Same amounts will appear on the Donate Now dropdown .)
8. Guest can type in a specific dollar amount to donate.
9. Choose payment method options from dropdown. (Setup of "Custom Payment" in Online Ticket Sales.)
10. SAVE

Generic Donate Now or /give page will have all these elements simply by enabling the page to appear.

1. Subject Line of all Credit Card E-mails
2. Body of the letter using Text and Merge Tags that pull in data from your site into e-mail - ["labels"]
3 List of Merge Tags
4. Save Edits
5. Test e-mail appearance by sending to -
6. Test address for credit card purchase of online ticket sales confirmation e-mail
7. Reset e-mail to default text and appearance
Pay Later Button - Edit E-mail Sent When Paying for Donation Later and not by Credit Card
