Information for First-Time FREE and GOOD Subscribers - What Can You Do

Hello, and thank you again for choosing our software. You are reading the first section of our online manual, where we have instructions for helping you take advantage of all the things our software can do for you. This documentation is the only support available for FREE and GOOD accounts, so please bookmark it and use it liberally.

Let’s start with a list of what can be done with the FREE and GOOD versions of our software. Before your event, our software can help you and your team of volunteers:

  • Record the people and businesses who donate items to your fundraising auction - we refer to these people as your Donors
  • Record the Items your Donors donate (FREE and GOOD subscriptions are limited in the number of items you can track)
  • Record the Tickets you sell to the guests who will be attending your event and bidding on items (FREE and GOOD subscriptions are limited in the number of bid numbers you can assign)
  • Print Bid Sheets, and Description Sheets for the silent auction tables, plus Gift Certificates, a simple Catalog, Guest Labels, Bid Paddles and more.

At the event, our software can help your team:

  • Check your guests in and assign them bid numbers
  • Sell your guests items
  • Check your guests out, and print receipts for them

After the event, our software can help you produce reports on:

  • what sold
  • to whom
  • and for how much

Okay. So, how does it work? If you have not yet done so, start by setting up an Event Website. This is an instance of our software dedicated to your auction. It has it’s own URL (web address) and this is where you go to work on your event. That address will look something like:

http://yourschool.schoolauction.net/yourauctionname

From the home page of your event website, find the “Login” link, and login using the credentials you set up when you created the event website.

Now you have a lot of options you can explore, so I’m going to suggest you go on to the next part of this documentation.
