Finishing Touches and Site Settings during the Off season

1.Imagine someone happens to come back to the site after the event. What will that guest see? (Has the advantage that people will not get confused as to which year they are on because the text looks back not forward.)

2. Turn off external purchasing links.

3. Purge guest cards that are vaulted.

4. If you are certain you will not use a credit card account again until next year, you may consider suspending/inactivating/turning off your gateway and merchant account. In deciding to do this beware of several common mistakes:
A. Not realizing that you need to turn off BOTH the gateway and the merchant account.
B. Not considering the cost of turning it off or on.
C. Misplacing the information needed to start it up again so one tortures themselves or their successor.
