Migrating Data (For Returning Subscribers for Account Admins)
1. You must be an Account Admin to sign into https://my.schoolauction.net or https://my.tofinoauctions.com .
2. You should do this before entering any data to avoid duplication or overwriting data.
3. This is data only and will not transfer or change how your site appears, especially on the homepage.
4. CHECK your new site right away to make sure it migrated what you wanted. Anything data entered between the errant migration and the reversal will be lost.
Starting from your Account Manager Screen
-While logged into https://my.schoolauction.net (or https://my.tofinoauctions.com) ,
click on the the site you want to migrate data to.
1. Choice of What to Migrate to the New Site
1. Custom Fields - Migrate this if there is information that maintains its value beyond a single year or event.
2. All Donors - All Donors Move by Default - See Below
3. MIgrate Items - All Migrated Unless Selected Item Types or Where Item Was Sold - See Below
4. Migrate User List - All Migrated Only Guests Migrated - See Below
5. Migrate Credit Card Settings - Do not assume that account info is still active unless tested with a charge. For example, some gateways require revising passwords every 90 days.
2. All Donors Move by Default - Choose which Donors To Migrate
Use the dropdown to choose the correct web site you want to migrate/copy data from .
3. MIgrate items - All Migrated Unless Selected Item Types or Where Item Was Sold
Migrating Items should only be done where there are a high number of repeat donations and Items will not need extreme weaning and/or editing.

4. Migrate User List - All Migrated Only Guests Migrated
The migration of Users is most beneficial if you are going to enter tickets yourself because you can avoid retyping all the information.
The migration of Users is least beneficial when you are going to sell tickets online as there were will be duplicate users created.
