Change the Header for the Main Site

Steps needed to change the Header from the Default View:

1. Select or create an Image for the background.

2. Select or Resize a logo for the Banner Image.

3. Load Images

4. Saving Loaded Images and Installing Selections from dropdown

1. Background is an Image that repeats across the entire screen. Only needs to be 1 pixel wide to work.

2. Does not need to be two-toned but 125 pixels total height works with layout of the rest of the page. Default image is divided between 30 pixel and 95 pixel stripes.

3. Default Navigational font is white so dark background best for the user . (Changing color of font requires dabbling in CSS.)

 

2. Select or Resize a logo for the Banner Image.

3. Load a banner or images for your Site

1. Admin > Look and Feel

2. Click on Images Tab

3. Browse for image.
(The image you need should be 95 pixels high X 200-500 pixels wide so it fits in the space provided and does not make your navigation links will disappear. )

4. Upload selected image making sure it is and acceptable file format.

.jpeg/jpg - .gif - .png are accepted.

.jpeg/.jpg JPEG Image File
.png Portable Network Graphic

5. Image appears with address and will then appear on dropdown os header image and background image.

4. Selecting Loaded Images for a Custom Banner

Still on Admin > Look and Feel

1. Basic tab

2. Save so that recently loaded image shows up in the dropdown

3. Choose from Dropdown of loaded images for Banner Image and Header background Image

4. Save

Image appears with background image as new Header
